A Recipe for WW2 poem

A Recipe for World War II

Take one failed Treaty of Versailles,
A rotten League of Nations,
3 cruel and selfish fascist leaders,
And one communist country,
Add a cup of appeasement to start the bubbling,
And a few million fuming Germans,
Now a pinch of power-hungry Japanese should do the trick,
So stir the dish and leave it out to dry for a few years on a brick.

Dana, I really like your poem, especially the ending, it was funny as well as ended the poem possibly in the best way it could get. The rhymes, trick and brick, gave this extra tinge to it. Also, the way you added some cooking verbs, and phrases really made it sound like a realy recipe!. One thing your could possibly improve on would be on the 3rd or 4th line where you add 3 nasty leaders, maybe naming those leaders would give a much more realistic effect as if those leaders are like foods needed to be added to the recipe. Overall great job, the fact that you really put an extra effort really shows through!
